In the lead up to Spring Break, families at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School took to the classroom to participate in engaging academic activities with their children and school teachers.

Last week, parents had the opportunity to visit Wilson for group reading, math and science activities, helping supporting current unit curricula for their children across various grade levels. 

Not only does parent participation in school help improve student outcomes by boosting academic achievement, but volunteering to assist one's child during the school day helps enhance classroom behavior and boost self-esteem all around!
